Three local companies have been awarded job creation tax credits from the
Ohio Department of Development.
Kao Brands Company has been awarded a seven-year, 45 percent tax credit for the acquisition of machinery, equipment and property improvements that is expected to create 30 new positions and retain 449 jobs.
Portion Pac, a division of
H.J. Heinz Company, has been awarded a five-year, 45 percent tax credit for the expansion of its Mason facility, a project expected to create 25 new positions and retain 442 jobs.
St. Bernard Soap Company has been awarded a six-year, 45 percent tax credit for the acquisitions of machinery and equipment, creating 25 jobs and retaining 296 positions.
