Golf Manor

Tucked in between surrounding communities Pleasant Ridge and Roselawn, the Village of Golf Manor encompasses only .57 square miles. The tiny community got its name due to its adjacency to three nearby golf courses. It is home to the oldest Orthodox Jewish synagogue in the Cincinnati area. The racial makeup of this village is around 63% African American and 34% White. Mayor Stefan Densmore believes lower-income residents could profit from resources such as community-wide Wi-Fi. “We could definitely put assets like that to good public use. I think the ability to offer free high speed internet access to low income communities could benefit those local economies,” says Densmore.
