LeanCor president shares 'Lean' principles with MSNBC

Entrepreneurs are always looking for ways to save money without sacrificing quality.

In this Dollars & Sense clip from MSNBC, LeanCor president Robert Martichenko shares the ways in which his Florence-based logistics provider applies "Lean" principles throughout its entire supply chain.

"We should only be doing those things that the customer sees as valuable," he says.  "Then we need to make sure that we're only doing those things."

Martichenko also says that "Less is More" is a major Lean principle, and that, instead of focusing on wasteful economies of scale, companies should put their focus into just-on-time delivery of product.
