HR by Twitter: Social media helps firms find employees

Companies across the nation, like Cincinnati-based IT firm Lucrum, are beginning to use the power of social media to recruit new talent and cut the high administrative costs often associated with talent attraction.

Lucrum employs 100 people and had 2008 sales of $15 million.  David Bowman, director of marketing, says that the new approach "can give you deeper insight into a potential candidate," but also warns that the use of social media is "no magic bullet" as face-to-face interaction and communication skills still need to be examined.
