Cincinnati native brings project management experience to Fort Wayne, Indiana

Matthew Cohen, a recent Cincinnati transplant to Fort Wayne, Indiana, and the project manager for Cincinnati’s Model Group for the past five years, has relocated to help the city with their project, The Landing.

The development — which was originally home to the city’s first newspaper, post office, railway station, hotel, and theater — will hold about 70 apartments, a brewery, a coffee shop, and additional commercial tenants.

“The Landing is nothing short of what we do on a regular basis,” says Cohen, who grew up around his family construction business in Cincinnati and later attended Northern Kentucky University, where he studied construction management.

The Model Group was on the forefront of bringing Cincinnati's historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood back to life. It’s known for redeveloping properties and following through to ensure that its projects maintain success in the long run.
