Cincinnati is the 15th best-paying city in the country for software developers

Software developers in the tri-state area (including parts of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana) earn nearly twice as much as other workers in the region. There are about 8,600 local jobs in the field offering an average annual salary around $100,000, but that’s not the only draw: Cincinnati’s low cost of living also means that people can comfortably survive on that salary.


Other draws listed in the article include a booming startup economy combined with longstanding Fortune 500 businesses in the area.
