Cincinnati is the 10th most affordable place to live

Out of the 25 most affordable places in the U.S., Cincinnati is No. 10, according to a recent U.S. News and World report ranking. After surveying 2,000 residents on the importance of various factors when determining where to live, value was weighted at 25 percent.


The typical cost of living — including renting or owning, plus the typical cost of utilities and taxes — is 21 percent of the median household income in Cincinnati, and the median annual salary hovers just below $50,000.
