Cincinnati's Children's Hospital Medical Center will be one of eight
hospitals nationwide that will take part in a swine flu vaccine
clinical trial.
The trials are meant to gather "critical data" about influenza
vaccines, including two H1N1 flu vaccines. The research work is being
directed by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
The hope is that the research will lead to a H1N1 flu immunization
program this fall.
