Spring National Meeting Registration is Open

Cincinnati is a city that fights above its weight class, setting an ambitious goal to attract and retain 150,000 young professionals in the next eight years by becoming the vibrant, walkable urban city they increasingly prefer. To do so requires constant and strategic reinvention, a process very familiar to the city’s entrepreneurs and creatives. That is why Cincinnati will be the host of CEOs for Cities’ Spring National Meeting: The City As A Startup on May 17-18, 2012.

Registration is now open and complimentary for paying CEOs for Cities partners. Non-partners may register for a $500 fee.

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Cincinnatian Hotel at 601 Vine Street for a discounted rate of $188/night. Please call +1 513 381 3000 and mention CEOs for Cities when you make your reservation.

Attendees will receive an updated release of City Vitals, CEOs for Cities’ framework for measuring the success of cities. First released in 2006, City Vitals lays out the rationale for ignoring ubiquitous city rankings and instead focusing on four dimensions: connectedness, innovation, talent and distinctiveness. CityVitals was developed by Portland-based economist Joseph Cortright in partnership with CEOs for Cities.

Thank you to the Carol Ann & Ralph V. Haile Jr./US Bank Foundation, Downtown Cincinnati Inc. and the leaders of our Cincinnati City Cluster for their generous support.
