What do you do in your new position at Envision?
As the development director, I am responsible for finding additional funding streams to help our programs grow and be able to continue to offer the best services possible to the children and adults that we serve in the developmentally delayed community.
What do you like best about this job?
The people at Envision (formerly known as Residential Home Corporation) are such a passionate and dedicated group. Their willingness to help each other and better serve those who need us is infectious. We are led by a wonderful CEO, Tricia Burke, who is a true visionary. Her leadership inspires everyone and makes this a very special place to work. I feel very fortunate.
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati?
Originally from Chicago, I have always likened Cincinnati to a smaller version of the Windy City. There is so much to do, and the people are very helpful and friendly. I once moved out of town for about eight months because of a job transfer and I just couldn’t wait to get back to the Queen City! It has definitely become my home.
What part of town do you live in, and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live?
I live in Union Township, and having the new
Jungle Jim’s within a five-minute drive has been a lot of fun! I love showing it off to friends who come in from out of town.
