Walnut Hills and
Wyoming have been named among the nation's best public high schools in
U.S. News and World Report.
The schools, which were ranked in the 80s last year, placed 36th and 50th respectively.
U.S. News bases its rankings on the availability and effectiveness of Advanced Placement courses, state test scores, and the performance of historically disadvantaged student groups.
Both high schools also placed in
Newsweek's top 100 list, released in May.
