Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) received incentives worth $19 million to locate its North American headquarters in Clermont County with a targeted launch date of March 17.
In addition to an eight-year job creation tax credit from the state of Ohio, the company is also the recipient of a $2.5 million rapid outreach grant to help pay for the 196,000-square-foot building and its renovations.
The Hindu Business Line reports that TCS plans on employing 1,000 within the first three years.
Positions created will include software engineers, pre-sales professionals and administrative support staff.
TCS will join more than 2,000 business technology firms that have a significant presence in the region.
