Cincinnati Bell has introduced Smart Home Phone, a device that allows customers to send and receive text messages, access the Yellow Pages, and read news, weather and sports on their home phones.
The new device also has a visual voicemail feature, using
SpinVox technology to convert voice messages into text, and additional integrated features such as e-mail and address books are in the works.
ZoomTown users can purchase the Smart Home Phone handset for $29.99, which will retail for $129.99.
