Richards Industries upswing a sign of Rust Belt recovery?

The lower value of the U.S. dollar is reviving American manufacturing, allowing companies like Cincinnati's Richards Industries to thrive.

Richards, which manufactures various types of valves, has seen exports grow from 2 percent to nearly 40 percent of its $30 million a year business.

The Globe and Mail reports that exploding sales in China and throughout the rest of Asia have allowed Richards to begin hiring new salespeople in key overseas markets and that the company's business has never been in better shape.
