'Project Beacon' to offer arts groups more space, communal setting

The Fine Arts Fund, Enjoy the Arts, Art Works and Learning Though Art are exploring the possibility of coming together under one roof, and they're looking at the Elm Industries building at 1539 Race Street.

According to the Business Courier of Cincinnati, "Project Beacon" would actually be comprised of several building in the area, totalling around 40,000 square feet.

The land is currently owned by the Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC), who is working with them on the project.

The non-profit arts organizations believe that occupying the same space will not only improve their efficiency, but will also help them better serve the neighborhood.
