Gorilla Glue wins new products award from Popular Science

The Gorilla Glue Company's Gorilla Super Glue Impact-Tough Formula has garnered a "Best of What's New" award from Popular Science magazine, the company's second award in two years.

Recognized in the Home Tech category, the glue formula contains tiny rubber particles that give it impact resistance strength, reducing the chance of a repair breaking if it is bumped or dropped.

"Best of What's New is the ultimate Popular Science accolade, representing a year's worth of work evaluating thousands of products," Popular Science editor Mark Jannot says in a media release.  "These awards honor innovations that not only influence the way we live today, but that change the way we think about the future."

Best of What's New awards are presented annually to 100 new products and technologies in 11 categories.
