Mallory releases GO Cincinnati economic development plan

Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory has released his GO Cincinnati report, which highlights specific strategies for investment to spur city growth and increase the city's tax base.  By following the report's recommendations, the city could create nearly 5,000 new jobs and increase its revenues by more than $146 million.

The Business Courier article says that the 14 recommendations from the report include place-based development, transportation improvements, and the streamlining of economic development delivery systems and workforce development.

GO Cincinnati, which stands for "Growth and Opportunities", took more than a year to produce and required the assistance of more than 200 business leaders, community stakeholders and consultants.
