Procter & Gamble's Folgers brand has introduced an enhanced, proprietary roasting process that is said to ensure a pure taste in every cup.
The new technique pre-roasts the coffee beans, reducing bean moisture and improving roasting consistency.
According to PR Newswire, this is Folgers' most significant investment in coffee innovation ever and will be supported by a new "Roasted with Care" marketing campaign, which will launch in September.
Although the packaging weight of Folgers canisters will decrease, the number of cups will remain the same.
