Hamilton County is getting ready to introduce a new, more efficient development process called “Build Hamilton County.” The new process is geared to speed up development projects throughout the county.
The goal is to launch the new development process by midsummer according to the office of Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper.
The initial effort will include three new steps modeled after other successful approaches. The new steps include a one-stop approach as it relates to pre-development meetings, exploration of shared services in development review amongst the 48 different Hamilton County jurisdiction, and a new web site called “Build Hamilton County” will act as a single reference point for developers.
