The third and final mid-rise of the $30 million
WatersEdge at Bellevue condominium project is now under construction along Eden Avenue.
The third building will be similar to the first two: Seven stories with two 3,200-square-foot units per floor, priced between $1 million and $1.3 million.
John Hans, co-founder of WatersEdge developer
Joshua One, says that the building will have a few minor design changes compared to the the first two, which he attributes to the company's learning process.
But they'll still include luxury finishes like granite countertops, hardwood floors, top-of-the-line applicances and expansive 650-square-foot terraces with river views.
Though within walking distance of the Fairfield Avenue business district, Hans calls the location a "hidden secret".
"Everything else [in Bellevue] is so visible," he says. "We're kind of down a little east, in a much quieter location. And you face the river, so you don't really hear the noise behind you."
Even in a down housing market, Hans says that there's still demand for higher-end homes.
"Even though the clip has slowed down, we are still selling units at all of our sites," he says.
Hans says that the biggest testament to the desirability of the project is the fact that 75 percent of the units sold were the result of referrals from other residents.
Construction is expected to conclude in the first quarter of next year.
