While others lament the current state of the housing market, the local franchise of Keller Williams Advisors Realty is seeking 100 new sales agents to join its residential real estate team.
Since opening its Greater Cincinnati office in Mason in 2005 with eight people, the broker has seen its number of sales professionals expand to 71.
Between 2006 and 2007, Keller Williams grew from 15th to 9th place locally with $100.8 million in home sales volume.
"Our message to agents out there is, 'Your business can grow. You don't have to buy into somebody else's system. We are growing,'" says Sarah Close Benza, operating principal at Keller Williams.
The company plans to expand their roster by recruiting newcomers, wooing experienced agents, and aggressively pursuing the market’s top producers.
"We're all about the agents," Benza says, operating principal of Keller Williams. "We'd like every professional realtor in this market to know that there are choices. There are choices available to them at Keller Williams, even in a market like this, that will help agents develop themselves professionally and enjoy a successful career."
According to Benza, Keller Williams empowers agents to develop themselves, while also giving them a stake in the success of the company through profit-sharing.
"Our business model and training encourages agents to view their business as being their own,” Benza says. "That's one of the fundamental buildings blocks of Keller Williams as a company. We offer you a platform to develop your own personal brand."
Founded in 1983, Keller Williams Advisors Realty is the fourth-largest real estate franchise operation in North America with almost 700 offices and 80,000 agents in the United States and Canada.
