Megan Deal is program director at People's Liberty, where she oversees the design residency and internal innovation programs. Megan's past work includes the development of PieLab–a restaurant and cultural hub in Greensboro, Ala.; and D:hive–a talent attraction and retention storefront in downtown Detroit. Megan lectures frequently on the role citizens can play in designing the future of our cities. A Detroit transplant, Megan presently lives in Findlay Market with her red bicycle. 

Kara Gebhart Uhl is a freelance writer and editor in Fort Thomas, Ky. Through pictures and essays, her Pleiades Bee blog has documented the joys and challenges of parenting since 2008.

Soapbox columnist Casey Coston, a former corporate bankruptcy and restructuring attorney, is now involved in real estate development and construction in and around Over-the-Rhine and Pendleton as Vice President at Urban Expansion. He's also a civic activist and founder of a number of local groups, including the Urban Basin Bicycle Club, the Cincinnati Stolen Bike Network, the World Famous OTR Ping Pong League and LosantiTours: An Urban Exploration Company.

Sarah Whitman is a freelance writer/editor with an emphasis on design and creativity. She served as Managing Editor of Soapbox Media from 2012 to 2014.
