Made Public
November 7
For two decades a Cincinnati family has housed Chinese treasures in their home and now it’s time to bring those treasures out of hiding. The Taft Museum of Art presents Brush/Clay/Wood: The Nancy and Ed Rosenthal Collection of Chinese Art, a private collection gone public. The exhibition, courtesy of the two private collectors, is an opportunity to see Neolithic pottery, contemporary paintings by artists who were trained after the Cultural Revolution, as well as pieces of furniture dating back to the Ming dynasty all the way up until the modern Qing dynasty. Don’t miss the chance for a glimpse into Chinese culture and history. Exhibit runs through January 11th.
