Cincinnati area airport fully opens new security building

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport has a new $23 million airport security checkpoint building.  The new building will be used to screen passengers before they catch their flight, and is expected to speed up the security process. Airport officials say that the new facility is needed despite a recent drop in flights and passengers at the international airport since the screening area did not serve passengers transferring through Delta Air Lines’ hub there.
