Initially, the Food Network was looking to cast executive chef and owner of Red Feather in Oakley, Brad Bernstein, on the popular “Guy’s Grocery Games.” But after speaking to his wife and business partner of both the Oakley restaurant and Postmark in Clifton, they decided to invite the couple.

The show, which pins chefs against each other to shop for and prepare meals in 30 minutes, produced “Cookin’ Couples,” forcing partners to watch while one hit the grocery aisles and bought items to make a quick a meal. The final challenge involved host Guy Fieri doling out a shopping list and time limit for a wedding dinner.

The Bernsteins, who competed against two other couples, won the show. To view the full episode, visit the Food Network.
