Cincinnati native starts monthly gathering in New York to celebrate all things Cincinnati

Cincinnati native Edward Youkilis opened Edward's in 2001 on West Broadway in New York City.  He hired a bunch of Cincinnati kids to work the restaurant which inevitably led to the desire for Cincinnati-style chili which sparked the idea of "Cincinnati Nights."

What started as chili fests back in 2006 is now celebrated the last Monday of every month as "Cincinnati Night."  Youkilis always keeps a stash of Cincinnati-style chili around for his nephew, Kevin Youkilis, who plays for the Boston Red Sox and often drops in with teammates.
