Support GCF’s marketing team in a wide range of administrative and project-management activities. 

What do you like best about this job? 
I love being a part of all of the marketing channels. Whether it be print media, social media or event planning, I get to assist in all areas and love the variety. Also, the people at GCF are amazing to work with and have such a passion for helping others.
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati? 
I love the hometown feel of Cincinnati and the many activities/groups you can become involved with, either as an individual or as a family.
 
Where do you live and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live?
I live in West Chester. I like this area, because my kids can go to good schools, but we are still located near great parks, Kings Island, and not far from downtown where we can visit the zoo, Museum Center, etc.

What's great about living/working in Cincinnati? 
It is pretty easy to get around downtown, and you can walk just about anywhere. This makes going to lunch or to a Reds game after work very convenient. The city is growing and getting better all the time.
 
What part of town do you live in and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live? 
I live on the west side of Cincinnati. I like the fact that as big as Cincinnati is, it still has a small town feel where you always see people you know wherever you’re at in the city.

Oversee project teams comprised of experts from multiple disciplines as well as manage scope, budget, schedule, quality and other project details in a proactive, timely manner.

What do you like (or what do you think you will like) best about your new job?
As a Hixson PM, I am primarily focused on managing relationships and facilitating successful outcomes. Earning someone’s trust is a process. When you have it and you function as that person’s “go to” resource, it’s incredibly empowering.
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati? 
Cincinnati is a small town with a lot of big-city characteristics: historic significance, Fortune 500 presence, unique festivals and events, diverse neighborhoods, a growing foodie scene and a signature skyline. I have lived and worked in the Queen City my entire life and can’t imagine going anywhere else.
 
What part of town do you live in?
Pleasant Ridge
 
What do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live? 
Aside from my fellow residents, I’m a huge fan of Pleasant Ridge’s central proximity to the City of Cincinnati and the surrounding neighborhoods. Plus, I like the fact that I can get anywhere inside of the I-275 loop in 20 minutes or less.

I live in Over-the-Rhine. I love the walkability of the neighborhood. In a matter of minutes I can walk to Washington Park, a new restaurant on Vine Street, the Contemporary Arts Center or a local biergarten.

I’m a lifelong Cincinnatian and third-generation Westsider. I’ve lived in Westwood for the past 22 years with my wife, Susan, and our daughters, Jane and Anna. I love the Westside’s tree-lined streets, superb housing stock and the close-knit family environment of our community. As I like to tell people, “I live 10 minutes from downtown, two minutes from my in-laws' house and three stop lights from the airport.”

He has directed various manufacturing plants in castings, forgings, machining, fasteners and fabrications, including thorough follow through of delivered products. Additionally, Rick has worked as a procurement leader with a large aerospace engine manufacturer and a cost reduction program manager in gas turbines.

At Aerobraze, Rick will provide leadership and direction to both the Cincinnati and Oklahoma City manufacturing sites. He will focus on developing new and existing customers in the aerospace and power energy industry. Working closely with the management team, he will play an integral role in the continual development of product and technology innovations.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University in Industrial Education/Technology. He taught various shop disciplines to high school students upon graduation and spent two years as an engineering technician performing stress and vibration tests at GE Aviation. Rick is Six Sigma Greenbelt certified and a strict practitioner of Lean and Continuous Improvement.

It also has a vibrant Riverfront with excellent parks found in various neighborhood pockets. It is hard to not have something to do on any weekend in Cincinnati.

I currently live in Alexandria. What sets Alexandria apart is the access to urban amenities and the pleasantries of country life.

What do you do in your new position at FRCH?
I work on many different projects within the specialty retail architecture studio. I coordinate on the production of construction documents for multiple clients.
 
What do you like best about this job?
This is a new job experience for me. Most of the projects I have worked on with previous companies have been long-term projects, one to two years, whereas these projects are completed in two to three months while working on seven to eight projects at the same time. It is very exciting and constantly keeps me on my toes.
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati?
Cincinnati is a great city. Having grown up in West Chester and attending college at the University of Cincinnati, I have been able to see the city truly come to be a place all its own. Everywhere you turn there is a new building, or an old site is being renovated to provide a new use to the community. It is great to be able to see something new every time you turn a corner.
 
What part of town do you live in, and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live?
I live in North College Hill. It is a small community with great access to the city. It is also a fairly walkable community allowing me to get outside and enjoy everything around and get into all the mom and pop shops that are still around there.

Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (Tri-ED) announced that Clifford A. Reed has joined the organization as Assistant Director of the Northern Kentucky ezone. He will work with Casey Barach, Senior Vice President of Entrepreneurship at Tri-ED and ezone Director, as part of the Northern Kentucky office of the Kentucky Innovation Network. 
 
“Cliff brings valued experience, determination and drive to our economic development team,” said Dan Tobergte, President and CEO of Northern Kentucky Tri-ED.
 
Prior to joining the ezone, Reed was the Chief Financial Officer for Turfway Park, a thoroughbred racetrack in Florence, Ky. Reed formulated and executed business strategies as part of the senior management team that included financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, human resources, risk management, information systems, and compliance with industry and governmental regulations. In addition, he worked closely with bankers, attorneys and accountants.
 
“One of the largest hurdles that the founders of startup companies face is putting together an accurate and reasonable financial plan for the business and potential investors,” Barach said. “In addition to his valuable executive experience and contacts from throughout the Greater Cincinnati region, Cliff’s financial expertise will be invaluable as we work to help companies that are commercializing a new product, technology or process in Northern Kentucky.”
 
Previously, Reed was associated with several companies in Greater Cincinnati, including Price Waterhouse, Arthur Andersen, and Chiquita Brands, where he held the positions of Senior Audit Manager, Controller and Director of Financial Reporting.
 
A lifelong resident of the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area, Reed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. He is a former member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, both the Kentucky and Ohio Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Management Accounts. He is also a past president of the Leadership Northern Kentucky Alumni Association.

Sand also has held leadership roles in LEGACY, Northern Kentucky’s young professional organization, and several other professional organizations.
