My Mom's Motorcyle


NKU junior marketing major Douglas Gautraud recently won an international film competition for a video he produced titled "My Mom’s Motorcycle." The five-minute film looks at his grandfathers and how the things they possessed in life symbolized who they were.

His video, one of 1,100 entries from 76 countries, won the People’s Choice Prize and earned Gautraud more than $20,000 worth of film gear in the Rode Microphones My Reel contest.

The video has been viewed more than 1.6 million times on YouTube.
