A mural takes flight


In 1914, Martha, the planet's last passenger pigeon, died at the Cincinnati Zoo. In summer 2013, ArtWorks turned John A. Ruthven's original painting of Martha and her flock, a masterpiece by the 20th Century Audubon, into a public mural. This video is a time lapse of the work that John A. Ruthven, Tim Parsley and 15 ArtWorks Youth Apprentices spent more than 103 days painting.
