The Real Estate Opportunity in Northern Kentucky

You don't take a horse and buggy
to the general store anymore. And Northern Kentucky doesn't approach business
development the old-fashioned way, either.
Today, seekers and providers of commercial and
industrial space find each other faster with the help of NorthernKentuckyUSA.com,
a web site with special, interactive features about prospective locations.
This sites and buildings locater enables
consultants, owner reps and corporate decision makers to quickly evaluate the
potential of available properties in Northern Kentucky.
"Users can search Northern Kentucky for the
space they need based on their individual criteria," says Karen Finan, Tri-ED
senior vice president. "And we use this tool extensively when we respond to project inquiries so
we can identify real estate solutions for site consultants and company
decision-makers."
Tri-ED has maintained site and building
availability since 2000, and has kept up with evolving technology to improve
how that information is accessed. We're not talking a simple spreadsheet here. NorthernKentuckyUSA.com has been upgraded with mapping capability, demographic stats and links to
similar local, regional and national databases. The data is consistently
reviewed and refreshed.
For example, to search for vacant building space or
land the user can enter minimum and maximum size requirements by square feet or
acres. Then, the user can create site-specific reports with details including demographics,
the local workforce, and nearby businesses and their categories.
The mapping feature gives the user a view of nearby
streets, highways, freeways, cities, counties, bodies of water, rivers,
railroads, points of interest, major educational facilities and parks.
Basically a whole lot of information.
Douglas A. Armbruster, vice president of leasing
for Industrial Developments International in Covington, is a user of
NorthernKentuckyUSA.com. He says it increases the visibility of real estate
offerings, thus aiding marketing of the area. He also likes Tri-ED’s "very
unified effort" at making the online tool far-reaching.
"I'm very impressed," says Douglas
Whitten of CB Richard Ellis in Cincinnati.
Whitten says especially in today's world, with so
many large corporations considering so many sites in so many far-flung places,
there's demand for a mechanism to evaluate all the options. The locator
functionality of NorthernKentuckyUSA.com"is definitely a nice tool for
background studies and whatnot."
The site also links to regional, state and national
site databases including Cincinnati USA; the Commonwealth of Kentucky and
zoomprospector.com offering even more exposure.
Finan says the site selection capabilities of NorthernKentuckyUSA.com
is important to Tri-ED’s daily operation.
Through this tool, she says, "We can find the
best solutions, so when a primary job creator considers Northern Kentucky we
can provide quick, expert information."
