What do you like best about this job?
I think the biggest perk about working at Hixson is the work culture. Everyone is treated with respect and dignity, and this was evident even in the interviewing process.

The greatest thing about living/working in Cincinnati so far is variety. There are so many places to explore, people to meet and food to eat.

Symmes Township. I like the amazing schools and sense of community.

What do you do in your new position at Hixson?
I oversee project teams comprised of experts from multiple disciplines as well as manage scope, budget, schedule, quality and other project details in a proactive, timely manner.
 
What do you like best about this job?
The variety that comes with opportunities to work in the A/E/C industry nationwide.
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati?
Cincinnati is a growing city and has a lot new things going on in the downtown area. I enjoy the entertainment in my spare time when I’m not on the road or in the office.
 
What part of town do you live in? What do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live? 
Mt. Lookout. it's very conveniently located between Hyde Park, work and the downtown area. It’s a nice place to live where you are just minutes from local attractions.

What do you do in your new position at Hixson?
I'm responsible for the design, specification, startup and commissioning of mechanical systems. 
 
What do you like best about this job?
I get to work on a wide variety of food and beverage facilities all over the country and get to see how many products are made. I also enjoy being part of a large team of engineers and architects that solve challenging problems.
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati?
I have grown up in the area my whole life, and it’s amazing to see how the area has grown and developed. It has something to offer for people of all ages.
 
What part of town do you live in? What do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live?
Alexandria, KY. Alexandria is nice community that has a rural feel but is located close enough to still enjoy everything Cincinnati has to offer.

What do you do in your new position at Hixson?
Oversee the strategic identification, assessment and pursuit of potential new clients and work with Hixson’s Project Management to help foster and maintain loyalty with existing clients. 
 
What do you like best about this job?
For me, it’s all about people. It is clear that I am surrounded by wonderful people who are very committed to the Hixson values and culture, which is the key reason that I joined the firm. The business development team is highly professional, experienced and skilled—but also willing to smile, have some fun and enjoy our work.  
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati?
I have lived in greater Indianapolis for the past seven-plus years, so returning to Cincinnati is very much like coming home. Cincinnati is home to family and many friends, so being close to them will be great. I look forward to spending family time at the zoo, Museum Center, King's Island and the many neighborhood parks here in Cincinnati. I also will be able to attend more sporting events to support my beloved Bearcats, Reds and Bengals.
 
What part of town do you live in? What do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live?
Relocating from Indianapolis, my wife and I are currently in the process of finding a home here in Cincinnati. Our search is focused on the Anderson/Mt. Washington area due to a reasonable commute to downtown, strong schools for our sons, and stable and family-friendly communities.

What do you like best about this job?
I am excited about improving the joy of discovery for our users and helping to grow the business. Also, my wife and I collect mid-century modern furniture and we love seeing all the great finds that pop up in our keyword alerts every week.

The startup scene and urban renewal currently in full blossom provide a wealth of opportunities both personally and professionally. I’m really enjoying the midwestern friendliness and community created by the city of seven hills.

I live with my wife and four kids in Mt Auburn, on the edge of Over-the-Rhine. We love shopping at Findlay Market, playing cornhole at Rhinegeist and running through the fountains at Washington Park.

What do you like best about this job?
I am really excited about the variety that comes with working for an agency. It is great to switch between vastly different clients multiple times a day. It keeps my brain moving and learning.

Cincinnati has a rich culture, and I enjoy the pride it has in its own identity. The worst quality one can have is apathy, and that doesn’t seem to be a trait common in Cincinnati.

I currently live in Northern Kentucky, residual of my previous position. I like it for the duality it offers, but enjoy crossing the bridge often for work and fun.

I assist in the writing, editing and distribution of various communications, including press releases and grant requests/applications for 3CDC development projects and event programming. I also provide content management support for our website.

What do you like best about this job?
It utilizes my skills as both a writer and digital marketing specialist. I come from a digital marketing background but have a passion for content writing—this position marries the two. I also like that I am in an industry previously unfamiliar to me. I’m a lifelong learner and am excited to learn something new every day.

What's great about living/working in Cincinnati? 
There’s so much to do! Cincinnati is somewhere between a small city and thriving metropolis and it makes every day interesting.

I live in Oakley and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is welcoming, I can walk everywhere and it’s a super dog-friendly area. Overall, it’s a great spot to live for a twentysomething.

What do you do in your new position at CR Architecture + Design?
As an interior designer, I do a number of tasks such as space planning, 3D modeling and computer renderings, creating client presentations, architectural finish and FF&E selections, writing specifications, and construction administration.

What do you like best about this job?
Typically no two days are ever the same. The daily activities and pace vary which keep you on your feet. Also, there is nothing more rewarding then seeing something you have spent many months or sometimes years designing come to fruition and then see people enjoying the work you have done. 

What's great about living/working in Cincinnati? 
Cincinnati is rich in history and there is a lot to do/experience. The city has grown so much since I went to school here (five years ago) that I am excited to be back and explore everything. 

What part of town do you live in and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live?
Northwest Downtown. I like that at less than three miles, it is an easy commute to work.

What do you do in your new position at 3CDC?
Scheduling, Payroll Management/Approval, Recruiting, Interviewing, Develop Employee Retention Strategies, Training, Performance Evaluations … To summarize all that, I make sure we have the best on-site staff equipped with the proper tools, training and support necessary to maintain the public spaces we manage, produce amazing events for guests to enjoy, provide guests with positive experiences in the city, and represent the vibrant culture of Cincinnati.  
 
What do you like best about this job?
Working in retail for five years, I told myself I would never want to sit at a desk all day. Working with 3CDC, I love that I don’t have to sit in the office all day, every day. I can tend to my administrative duties, visit our different sites to check in with my team members and then work events with them. 
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati? 
I love being able to watch the city grow and develop. It’s almost like living and working in an urban playground. There’s always something to do or experience. Plus, living/working downtown eliminated the 30-minute commute to Sharonville, so that’s a nice bonus also.  

What part of town do you live in, and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live? 
I live downtown near Fountain Square. It’s been interesting learning how to balance having business and pleasure as my “front porch,” but that’s the best part about working for a company that can bring businesses and pleasure together for some great events. One of the best decisions I made for 2014 was moving downtown.

What do you do in your new position at dunnhumbyUSA?
I produce content for a variety of communication vehicles for dunnhumby clients. This can be anything from magazine articles to recipes and emails. Every day is something new. 
 
What do you like best about this job?
dunnhumby is a great company, and I’m lucky to be part of an incredibly creative and collaborative team. My background is in journalism, so it’s fun to use that experience to write customer-focused material that has such a broad reach. Plus, I love working downtown again. 
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati? 
When I moved here for a job more than a decade ago, I never dreamed I’d stay. But within six months, I was hooked. Cincinnati is a beautiful city with fantastic architecture, dining and entertainment — and it just keeps getting better. 
 
What part of town do you live in, and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live? 
I live in Madeira with my husband and two kids. The schools are great, and it’s been a wonderful place to raise little ones. There are really nice neighborhood events, including a year-round farmers market. I also love that it’s easy to walk to lunch or coffee on the weekends.

What do you do in your new position at NKY Tri-ED?
Manage NKY Tri-ED’s marketing program and lead efforts to attract informatics, office, R&D and service-related economic development projects to Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties.
 
What do you like best about this job?
I love that I have the opportunity to promote our beautiful Northern Kentucky region locally, nationally and internationally. It is exciting to be part of the NKY Tri-ED team, and I look forward to working with them to help retain and expand existing companies, attract new businesses, and support the startups and entrepreneurs in our region.
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky?
The regional spirit that exists in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati makes it the perfect place to live, work and thrive! Despite the mighty Ohio River and numerous jurisdictional boundaries, our business, government, education and community leaders are committed to working collaboratively to ensure our region continues to grow and remains strong, productive and vibrant. 
 
What part of town do you live in, and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live?
I live in the City of Erlanger, which is conveniently located off of I-71/75 and I-275. We love that we are just minutes from CVG and downtown Cincinnati, but what we appreciate most is that Erlanger is a great place to raise our family. Our children attend St. Henry School, which is just a few blocks away, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else!

I supervise the day-to-day operations on Fountain Square and oversee many of the events that we host on the square.
 
What do you like best about this job?
I love that it gives me the opportunity to have a hand in bringing so many great events to the people of Cincinnati. It’s incredibly rewarding to see so many people enjoying themselves at an event that our team has put so much hard work into.
 
What's great about living/working in Cincinnati?
Cincinnati is becoming more and more active by the day. There is always something to do in this city, whether it’s seeing a concert at one of our many great music venues, attending a Reds, Bengals or Cyclones game, or even just checking out the latest restaurant to come to town. We’re literally watching the city grow before our very eyes.  
 
What part of town do you live in, and what do you most like about the neighborhood in which you live?
I currently live in Norwood. I personally think it’s an incredibly affordable area that is in close proximity to many areas of interest for me, like Hyde Park, Oakley, Rookwood Commons and downtown.
