Job Summary

Recruits, screens, and interviews external applicants to fill current job vacancies. Reviews and evaluates applicant's work history, education, training, and other qualifications. Informs candidates of job's duties/responsibilities, compensation and benefits programs, work schedule/conditions, career advancement opportunities, etc. Participates in the design and placement of employment advertising. Core Responsibilities • Responsible for interviewing, and referring applicants for clinical, technical, administrative and management positions throughout the Company, coordinates arrangements for interviews. • Analyzes the information provided on a prospective employee's application form and conduct a personal interview, determines the suitability of the applicant for employment • Notifies final candidates of consideration or rejection • Coordinates background investigation, i.e., prior employment references, etc. to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision. Takes into consideration previous experience, education, etc. • Records and monitors recruitment costs and measure efficiency of methods • Works closely with all managers to assess appropriate background and skill set for open job requisitions. • Act as liaison with local and national employment agencies, partner with advertising firms, authorizes advertising agency billings, recording status of authorized open requisitions, and oversees the company employee referral program. • Plan, Organize and participates in recruiting open houses, job fairs and campus recruiting, as well as ongoing research of the CRO industry to collect information on trends and events that impact the availability and quality of resources and candidates. • Develops ability to work as a team player within not only in Recruitment & Selection but among all other areas of the organization. • Facilities and Negotiates employment offers between Function Hiring Managers and candidates. • Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Skills & Attributes Minimum of bachelor's degree and five (5) to eight (8) years or equivalent of recruiting or Human Resources experience in a corporate environment or third party agency is required. Extensive knowledge of the CRO and/or pharmaceutical industries is preferred. Deep experience with Internet sourcing, social media and applicant tracking systems. Knowledge and experience of specific responsibilities will most typically be attained on the job. Candidate/incumbent must possess excellent customer service, communication skills and strong interpersonal to interview, assess, persuade and negotiate with candidates. Candidate/incumbent should be able to work independently and understand and carry out detailed instruction. He/she should be able to interact with staff from multiple departments. Applies skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all administrative and specialized functions in the Company, a sound good understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure, and local employment legislation Candidate/incumbent should be attentive to detail, flexible, open to suggestions. He/she must be able to work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may differ from project to project. Candidate/incumbent should have strong analytical skills to design and maintain databases and develop recruiting metrics to measure success of programs and the ability to work as a team player within not only in R&S but among all other areas of the organization.
