What you get for $450,000

A $425,000, 1886 Mount Adam’s home was recently featured in a New York Times story about what you can get for $450,000.

The three-story Victorian with three bedrooms and four bathrooms has updated amenities that blend with the house’s historic charm, along with views of the city, and easy access to downtown, parks, and museums.

Compared to the other two houses in the story, Cincinnati came in about average, with a two-bedroom, one-bathroom condo in Marblehead, Mass. going for $450,000, and a three-bedroom, three-bathroom half-story house listed at $439,000 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
