“Fur”endly spaces

Nearly 85 million households in the country own animals, and the expenses add up. From grooming and training to pet deposits and medical care, pets can put a real financial drain on families. 

Enter WalletHub's 2018 survey: Using a variety of metrics — including access to affordable pet care, availability of pet-related services, and walkability — they compiled a list of the most pet-friendly cities in the nation. Out of 100 cities, Cincinnati came in at No. 7 thanks, in part, to low pet-care costs and a variety of furry-friendly outdoor spaces.
