Local restaurateur joins “Top Chef”

Even before opening her successful restaurant in 2017 (which landed on Cincinnati Magazine’s “Best New Restaurants” list), Caitlin Steininger made a brand for herself. After classic French training at Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago, she traveled throughout the United States and Italy, feeding people at popup events.

When she returned to Cincinnati, she and her sister started her popular “Cooking With Caitlin” website with recipes, video demos, and podcasts.

In season 16 of “Top Chef,” which airs Dec. 6, Steininger will cook her way through Kentucky, competing with 14 other chefs for a $125,000 prize.
