Pendleton is the oldest apartment building still being rented in the country

The top 20 rental buildings in the country that have been around since before 1950 include Pendleton, which dates back to before the Civil War.

The 171-year-old red brick structure still has residents inhabiting its 78 rental units, making it a staple in the community, and home to the oldest apartments in the country.
