Charley Harper murals unveiled in West Virginia

Brett Harper, son of the late modernist painter Charley Harper, traveled to West Virginia last week to unveil a series of wildlife-inspired murals in an area known as Trader’s Alley Arts District.

Brett, who runs the Charley Harper Art Studio in Cincinnati, spoke of his dad’s love of minimalism and nature. After attending the Art Academy of Cincinnati (where he later became a teacher), Harper designed works for many local and national nature organizations.
