This year, Only in Your State wanted to highlight new and hidden gems in all 50 states for their list of “Best Places to Visit in 2017.” Jungle Jim’s in Eastgate and Fairfield and Glenwood Gardens in Springfield Township cracked the top 10 for Ohio.

If you’ve never been, Jungle Jim’s isn’t your average grocery store. It has all of the items you would find at Kroger, including a huge produce section and fresh fish by the tank. But it also has rows upon rows of international foods, drinks and kitchen items too.

Glenwood Gardens is part of Hamilton County’s parks system, and boasts a motorized train display and larger-than-life treehouse. The 335-acre park includes a 1-mile paved walking trail and a 1.6-mile nature trail, plus formal gardens, prairie habitats, forests and wetlands.
