Flames & Icicles
November 13

The 3rd annual Fire & Ice Soiree is sending a surge of hot and cold through Cincinnati this Thursday night. Hosted by Ad2 Cincinnati, this event brings the YP’s of the city together with some of the greatest minds Cincy has to offer. It’s an evening of idea exchanges and shop talk on everything from advertising to graphic design and many other creative professions. The soiree has two venues acting as climate control. Bang Nightclub will be ‘fire;” guests who are in the mood to get hot can enjoy a live DJ, roaming fire-eaters on stilts and sizzling appetizers. Then AVS Art Gallery is nearing the freezing point as ‘ice’ with blue lighting, a jazz/pop pianist, living statues and cool appetizers. For more information click here.

What you see is what you get as ArtWorks hosts the 3rd Annual Secret ArtWorks Friday. Guests have the chance to purchase pieces of 5x7 inch juried art pieces, but the catch is you won’t know the identity of the artist until after the piece is marked as sold! Works may come from local, national or even international artists, so guessing who may have painted what is half the fun. They’ll also be live music, food and drink included in the $125 ticket price. Take a chance on the Early Entry Raffle for an opportunity to be one of 10 guests admitted early to grab two pieces of secret art. Click here for more details.
