Vision 2015 going green with new report

Vision 2015 will be releasing its second report to the community later this week, and this time they are going green. The electronic report will address issues critical to Northern Kentucky's competitiveness and prosperity, including economics, education, governance, livability, urban renaissance, and stewardship. It will be circulated to the community through partner organizations, on TANK buses, and on the Vision 2015 website.

In addition to reaching more people than a conventional printed report, Vision 2015's vice president of strategic initiatives and communications Kara Clark says that it sends an important message about the agency's goals.

"We wanted to find a medium that will reach a variety of audiences and engage the public in the work of Vision 2015 while continuing to support our overall goals which include a health, and an environmentally friendly community," she says.  "Producing an electronic report offers an opportunity for a diverse group of community members to see and hear our messages."

Clark says that the report's findings are critical to Northern Kentucky's continued development.

"Northern Kentucky understands the power of having a single community vision," she says.  "Continuing to draw attention and report on the progress of the community’s priority areas is critical to long term success.  What gets awareness, attention, and measurement gets done and we want the focus to remain on these goals so the needle is moved."

A copy of the report on CD or in print can be obtained by contacting Clark at (859) 757-0518 or by e-mail at [email protected].
