UC real estate dinner to feature awards, networking

The 19th annual University of Cincinnati Real Estate Dinner will be held June 4 at the Duke Energy Center. The dinner, presented by the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Center and sponsored by National City Bank, recognizes leaders in commercial real estate and is regarded as one of the leading local networking events in the industry.

"Because this dinner is so heavily attended by all of the major players, as well as our diverse array of sponsors, it makes this the best event for networking within this industry," says Kate Bridgman, special projects coordinator for the UC Real Estate Center.  "We really encourage our students to attend as well, so they can meet these people that they aspire to work with one day." Bridgman says that 650-750 people are likely to attend.

MSNBC’s Tucker Carlson will host the event, which begins at 5:30 PM with a cocktail reception on the terrace of Grand Ballrooms A and B with dinner following at 7 PM. This year’s honorees include Jeffrey R. Anderson of Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate and Leslie Schuler, president of the real estate fraternity Alpha Rho Epsilon.

Full tables for the event can be purchased through UC Conferencing for $850, which includes 10 dinner seats and 10 drink tickets. Half tables and single tickets are also available.

"In my opinion, people who should attend are people involved in all areas of commercial real estate - development, planning, construction, law, finance, brokerage, property management, community development, non-profit, and appraisal," she says.
