London Computer Systems, Inc. (LCS), a full-service technology and software company, has announced the expansion of their Cottonwood Drive headquarters in Loveland.
A 15,000-square-foot addition, completed by ARC Building Group in January, more than triples the company's space and provides breathing room for its sales and technical support departments.
The most striking feature of the new construction is its central tower, surrounded by glass windows and capped with a prairie-style hipped roof.

Situated on a hillside, the tower offers views of Loveland Madeira Road and the adjacent valley.
"From a technical standpoint, it was a real challenge to create a stable structure integrated into the natural hillside," says Dave Hegemann, president and founder of LCS. "The engineers and architects involved really did an excellent job taking the design vision and turning it into reality."
Renovation of the old space, expected to be completed this spring, will house the company's software development teams.
The expansion project was necessitated by the popularity of the company's
Rent Manager software product, which has led LCS to seek additional qualified software developers, salespeople, and customer service representatives.
"It's our bread-and-butter product," says Andy Williamson, sales and marketing manager for LCS. "Sales continue to go up. With the current economy, a lot of people are going back to renting. It is, in all fairness, driving our business."
Williamson says that Loveland officials have been very good to the company about staying and expanding in the city, but that other factors played into the decision.
"We chose to stay and expand in Loveland because we like the area," Williamson says. "It's a nice area, and it's easy to get to. You can see us from I-275."
