Growing Companies

Launched in August 2005, Life's Eyes Media offers a unique and comprehensive scope of products and services that distinguish the award-winning company from its industry counterparts and, in turn, position its clients a cut above their own.

The distinctive business model and service offerings of Life's Eyes Media are the brainchild of President and CEO Kristan Getsy, whose more than 12 years of journalistic experience uncovered what Getsy believes to be the core of effective communication.

"Everyone has a story to tell," says the media veteran.  As a former news reporter and anchorwoman, Getsy has witnessed firsthand the power and the elements of a story well-told and believes that "communicating that story- whether informative, entertaining or persuasive- lies in the presentation."

That's where Life's Eyes Media comes in.  From conceptualization to realization, Getsy's award-winning team of seasoned professionals- including producers, journalists, photojournalists, writers, editors, videographers and lighting specialists- work with a variety of corporate and private clients to "bring their story to life."  Coupling that singular focus with the right creative edge, the production company has repeatedly proven that the function of a video can be elevated from a simple visual tool to a powerful and influential instrument.

Setting a glowing example of their own "powers of persuasion through strong presentation" is the company's 2009 selection by NASA to film "Behind the Webb," a video documentation surrounding the building of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the country's soon-to-debut orbiting observatory.  Their skillful contributions on this historical project have since earned Life's Eyes Media not only a second, but a third and fourth contract with the governmental space agency.

In their "spare time" the video production company is busy filming additional documentaries, including one highlighting ongoing conservation efforts for Chilean penguins, another of the devastation and resiliency of the people of Haiti, and yet another highlighting the "green" elements represented by Cincinnati's recently completed American Red Cross facility.

Also on the drawing table are plans for the 2011 opening of a "legacy video" production company with a niche focus geared towards the private client eager to share their own (or a loved one's) story.

In celebration of the company's five-year anniversary and recent relocation, Life's Eyes Media will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of their new facility in Independence on September 22nd, with an Open House from 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
