Growing Companies

Since its founding, the Crestview Hills-based company has focused on building and designing a variety of single family, condo and patio homes in Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati and Southeast Indiana. The homes range from around $80,000 to upward of $700,000.

Fischer continued to stay focused on that market while methodically adding supporting services and housing complementary to its single-family home specialty. The company has its own design center and lending arm, Victory Mortgage. This hometown company has steadily grown and now has more than 15,000 homes in more than 60 communities.

Fischer then reached out to the first-time homebuyer with its more affordable Maple Street Homes division, with houses starting in the $90,000 range. The recent federal tax credits initiative that offers an $8,000 incentive to first-time buyers has given this division a financial bump.

In 2008, the Fischer group is took its brand of homebuilding to Columbus, building in four communities in the Ohio capital. The company now has a corporate office there, and its home building has spread outward from 7 to 20 neighborhoods in Columbus/Central Ohio region.

In September, Fischer will display what could be its grandest effort yet. During Homerama 2009 in Mason’s Carmelle development, the public can get a view of the The Nottoway, a 5,690 sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 4 ½ bathroom home with three fireplaces, exercise room and wet bar, among other features.

"Homearama is the premier new home show in Cincinnati and Fischer felt that it was the perfect opportunity to present the pinnacle of what we can offer the buying public," said Jill Fornshell Community Marketing Coordinator at The Fischer Group.
